Arrived just before 1pm and wind was around 15kts so rigged 12m and spent a nice hour cruising around trying out my new Shinn "The Monk" board in the sunshine. Felt really nice, light and very good upwind in the light conditions. Bit of chinwagging on the beach and then the wind filled in exactly as forecast, water got choppy and waves appeared and the fun really started. Very happy with the board (thanks to powerkiteshop.co.uk for superfast delivery). Must be a serious kiting addiction now... buying brand new kit! Legs and thirst finally drove me in about 6ish after another 3 hours even though there was still plenty of wind - in fact I'd have put up a 9 by then... I also declare the official end of the drysuit season - far too hot today and had to deliberately take a few swims to cool down. Now NOT looking forward to a whole evening marking the degree dissertations that didn't get marked this afternoon... but well worth it :(
